Via Credit Union is part of the communities where our members and staff live and work! Through various community events, ViaCU strives to make a difference. Below includes a partial listing of events ViaCU participates in each year:


CASA Sand Sculpture Artfest

ViaCU participates in the annual CASA fundraiser by creating a sand sculpture. This year Kelsey Kohlmorgen, Kim Speidel, Michelle Peterson and Ashley Slain created a donut and received the Shramm Family award.

Chronicle-Tribune Greatest Awards

The Chronicle-Tribune readers voted Via Credit Union the GREATEST CREDIT UNION in Grant County for the ELEVENTH year in a row!

ViaCU was also awarded the Greatest Place to Get a Loan!

Teacher Appreciation

ViaCU provides local teachers with a small gift to thank them for all of their hard work during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Financial Literacy

Staff teaches students to prepare for their future by teaching financial literacy through the Junior Achievement economics program and classroom visits.

Teacher Grants

In 2017, six grants totaling over $2,400 were awarded to local teachers to fund innovative classroom projects. Through the years, ViaCU has funded 74 projects totaling over $31,000!

Nurse's Aid

Staff and members make donations to the Nurse's Aid program through Jean Days and by purchasing fundraiser items. Each year, ViaCU is able to provide area school nurses with over $2,000 worth of items such as lice shampoo, clothing and personal hygiene items! In addition, an anonymous member donated homemade hats and gloves.

Salvation Army Angel Tree

Each Christmas season the staff of ViaCU generously contributes to the Angel Tree that provides gifts to children in need in our community.

Warsaw Fall Family Fun

Warsaw staff and Coindexter Kid’s Club mascot, Piggy Banks, roast up s’mores at the campfire by the lake for families attending the event.

ViaCU offers six $1,000 scholarships to members who are High School Seniors and have a cumulative High School GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
