The Chronicle-Tribune readers voted Via Credit Union the GREATEST CREDIT UNION in Grant County for the SIXTEENTH year in a row!

CUNA Diamond Awards
Via Credit Union was honored to receive two Diamond Awards by the Credit Union National Association (CUNA) Marketing & Business Development Council. ViaCU won a Diamond Award in the One-Time Event category for 85 Acts of Kindness and in the Complete Campaign category for 1% Cash Back campaign.
Central Indiana Top Workplaces 2023
Via Credit Union was awarded a Top Workplaces 2023 honor by The Indianapolis Star. An anonymous survey gathered employee feedback through a third-party, Energage, LLC, uniquely measured 15 culture drivers that are critical to the success of any organization: including alignment, execution, and connection, just to name a few.
Forbes Best-In-State Credit Unions 2022 List

Via Credit Union has been awarded on the Forbes list of Best-In-State Credit Unions 2022. This prestigious award is presented by Forbes and Statista, Inc., the world-leading statistics portal and industry ranking provider. The awards list was announced on June 21, 2022 and can be viewed on Forbes website by visiting https://www.forbes.com/best-in-state-credit-unions/#5c23a1156167
Forbes and Statista identified Best-In-State Credit Unions 2022 based on an independent survey of approximately 26,000 US consumers who were asked to rate credit unions at which they have or previously have had checking accounts. Participants made recommendations regarding overall satisfaction; they also assessed banks in the following areas: Trust, Terms & Conditions, Branch Services, Digital Services, Customer Service and Financial Advice.

CASA Sand Sculpture Artfest
ViaCU participates in the annual CASA fundraiser by creating a sand sculpture. Pictured is Sam Bacon, Ashley Slain and Kim Speidel creating a bee with the theme: "Thank you for BEE-ING child advocates".
Financial Literacy
Staff teaches students to prepare for their future by teaching financial literacy through the Junior Achievement economics program and classroom visits.
Nurse's Aid
Staff and members make donations to the Nurse's Aid program through Jean Days and by purchasing fundraiser items. Each year, ViaCU is able to provide area school nurses with over $8,000 worth of items such as lice shampoo, clothing and personal hygiene items! In addition, an anonymous member donated homemade hats and gloves.
Parades
ViaCU enjoys participating at small town parades throughout the year.
Cancer Services Walk of Hope
ViaCU staff raised $1,750 in donations through Jeans Days in early spring and/or walked the mile Walk of Hope for Cancer Services of Grant County!
Angel Tree Programs
Each Christmas season the staff of ViaCU generously contributes to the Angel Tree Program that provides gifts to children in need in our community.
Scholarships
ViaCU recognizes the importance of education, which is why we offer six $1,000 scholarships to high school seniors who are a member of ViaCU, have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. ViaCU is proud to announce the 2022 winners:

Non-perishable food and toiletries were collected at each branch.

Teacher Appreciation
ViaCU provides local teachers with a small gift to thank them for all of their hard work during Teacher Appreciation Week.
Teacher Grants
Via Credit Union awarded 15 grants totaling over $6,000 to local teachers for the funding of special classroom projects in 2022. Over the years, ViaCU has funded 146 projects totaling over $60,000 to area teachers.
Warsaw Parks Dept Events
Warsaw staff and Coindexter Kid’s Club mascot, Piggy Banks, attend multiple events throughout the year. Some of the fun includes roasting s’mores by the campfire at the Fall Fest and serving popcorn at Summer Movie Night.
